When one of the nation's largest freight operators in North America needed a new control infrastructure across multiple systems, they turned to Podium to deliver.
Podium executed three separate projects across the facility — a 10-panel network system, a monitoring system, and a series of transfer tower panels — delivering 19 UL 508A-listed stainless steel panels in total. Each panel was designed and built to NEMA 4X requirements, incorporating managed POE network switches with fiber communication capability, Allen-Bradley power supplies, and dual circuit protection for both 120VAC supply and 24VDC distribution. Panels were engineered for future I/O expansion and built to the customer's documentation and labeling standards throughout.
Across three projects and 20 panels, Podium delivered a consistent, compliant, and scalable control infrastructure across one of the country's busiest bulk terminal facilities.
"Podium Automation was able to build numerous panels quickly to keep our projects moving at a fast pace. They were able to come in at the lowest bid while maintaining a high level of quality and conforming to our hardware and electrical print requirements. The team is friendly, professional, and easy to work with."
